Leucothoe is a broadleaf evergreen shrub that does well in shaded areas if you are looking to add some color to an area that gets little sunlight. It develops into a fountain-like shrub with long, arching branches. They prefer acidic soils and typically grow about 3 to 6 feet tall and wide. The size will vary depending on the cultivar.
