Cypress - Shrub (chamaecyparis)

Chamaecyparis is genus of conifers in the family Cupressaceae, native to eastern Asia and western and eastern North America. They having dark scale-like leaves and rounded cones. They are great plants to add year round interest to your landscape.

Cypress Gold Mop
A ground-hugging mound that is truly mop-like, with stringy leaves that color best in full sun. A superior accent to add contrast to dwarf green conifer plantings. Tailored to rock gardens and slope plantings as well as Asian garden schemes. Evergreen.

Cypress Green Thread
This plant has a mounding growth habit which can be kept lower by pruning. Green Thread has very nice dark green foliage year round that is very stringlike in shape & texture. The very different foliage structure works very well to help this plant to stand out when planted amongst other evergreen species.

Cypress Hinoki Nana

Cypress Russian
A multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with a ground-hugging habit of growth. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other landscape plants with less refined foliage. A little known but hardy wide-spreading groundcover evergreen, closely resembles a spreading juniper in shape but with the foliage of arborvitae; unlike juniper, performs very well in shade, also needs well-drained but moist soils and wind protection. It has green foliage. The scale-like leaves turn coppery-bronze in fall. This shrub will require occasional maintenance and upkeep, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed.

Cypress Hinoki Soft Serve

Chamaecyparis pisifera
This soft, graceful evergreen has lovely color, too. A compact, conical falsecypress with graceful, soft fern-like branches. The leaves are bright green on top and flecked with silver-blue on the underside. This sport of 'Boulevard' is a great substitute for dwarf Alberta spruce.

Cypress Hinoki Cripsii
A dense pyramidal shrub with beautiful sprays of feathery foliage. The foliage is bright golden yellow in color, with shades of lime green towards the inside/center of the plant.
