SIZE: 16-20' tall
FLOWER: dazzling white
FRUIT: large, firm, deep garnet to almost black, smooth glossy skin, extremely juicy, particularly sweet, good for eating and for use in baking and preserves, ripens mid June
FOLIAGE: bright green
requires pollinator

Black Tartarian Cherry

ZONE: 5 to 8
SIZE: 30' tall and wide
FLOWER: clusters of  white
FRUIT: large, purplish-black, sweet, rich full-bodied flavor, good for eating and preserves, mid-June to early July
FOLIAGE: waxy, dark green
requires pollinater, excellent pollinator for other dark, sweet cherries

Montmorency Cherry
TART CHERRY
ZONE: 4 to 7
SIZE: 18' tall 20' wide
FLOWER: late blooming, white
FRUIT: medium-large bright red, with firm yellow flesh, clear juice, rich tart flavor, ideal for pies and preserves, late June, may need to drape netting to protect from birds
FOLIAGE: leathery, dark green
self pollinating, but planting 2 trees together will yield a better crop

Stella Cherry
SWEET CHERRY
ZONE: 4 to 8
SIZE: 15-16' tall
FLOWER: hot pink
FRUIT: firm, sweet, dark red flesh, mid July
FOLIAGE: green
self-pollinating, a good pollenizer for other types of cherry
