Braeburn

Average Size: 15-20' Tall & Wide
Flower: White with pink undertones
Fruit: Medium to large-sized fruit with yellow skin that has a red and orange overtone and striping. Texture is firm and crisp; the flavor is a perfect mix of sweet and tangy - great for fresh eating, baking, cooking, jams, and ciders.

​Self-pollinating; adding an additional Braeburn will drastically increase crop yield

Cortland
​Zone: 4 to 8
Average Size: 12-14' Tall & Wide
Flower: Pink buds bloom white with undertones of pink
​Fruit: Medium to large-sized red-striped fruit with occasional yellow or green patches. Sweet flavor with a hint of tartness; white flesh. Slow to brown after cutting, which makes them ideal for presentation use in fruit platters, salads, and desserts. Good for eating, cider, cooking and baking.

Self-pollinating; will pollinate Gravenstein, McIntosh and Honeycrisp

Fuji
​​Zone: 4 to 9
Average Size: 10-15' Tall, 8-10' Wide
Flower: Fragrant white and light pink
​Fruit: Large to very large bright red with yellow undertones and graining in skin. Crisp, juicy, and very sweet with a creamy-white flesh. Great for eating fresh, in salads, and maintain firmness in sauces or pies. Stores well in cool, humid conditions.

Requires pollinator: Gala, Granny Smith, Yellow Delicious, Pink Lady, or Honey Crisp

Gala Espalier available
​Zone: 5 to 8
Average Size: 10-15' Tall, 8-10' Wide
Flower: White and pink blossoms emerge from pink buds
​Fruit: Medium-sized fruit with red-orange skin that is striped or mottled. Mildly sweet taste with a crisp texture that is not too hard.

​Self-pollinating; planting a second variety will yield a larger crop when pollinated by Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, Yellow Delicious, Fuji, or McIntosh

Fruit: Medium to large in size, red and yellow mottled skin with a cream-colored flesh. Well balanced sweet and tart flavor and a juicy, crisp texture. Great for eating fresh or in baked goods.

Macoun

Average Size: 12-15' Tall & Wide
Flower: Lightly fragranced white flowers with pink over and undertones
Fruit: Medium to large-sized fruit with a deep red blush over a yellow-green base skin color. Softer crisp texture with plenty of juice, sweet and tart. Best enjoyed fresh from the tree but good in baking.

Requires pollinator: Honeycrisp or Golden Delicious

​McIntosh
​Zone: 4 to 8
Average Size: 15-20' Tall, 10-12' Wide
Flower: Fragrant white blossoms with a pink overtone that emerge from pink buds
Fruit: Medium-sized, vibrant red fruit with patches of green. Peels easy, flesh is tender with a sprightly sweet-tart taste. Good for eating fresh, use in cooking, sauces, and cider.

Requires pollinator: Braestar, Granny Smith, or Pink Lady

Pink Lady
​Zone: 6 to 9
Average Size: 15-20' Tall, 8-10 Wide
Flower: Dark pink buds open to white flowers with pale pink tones
Fruit: Small to medium-sized yellow-green fruit with a pink blush. Well balanced sweet-tart flavor with a creamy, light-yellow flesh. Versatile use in baking and great for eating fresh.

Requires pollinator: Fuji, Gala, Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or McIntosh

Red Delicious

Average Size: 12-15' Tall & Wide
Flower: White with hints of light pink
Fruit: Medium to large-sized fruit with a shiny, deep red skin color and a distinctive heart-shape. Mild and sweet flavor with floral undertone. Firm and juicy when fresh but soften quickly when not stored properly. Good for eating fresh or use in various cooking and baking.
